Arrow Engineering firmly believes the secret to great work starts open and honest conversation.
It's the way they approach all their projects, regardless if its mechanical–, electrical–, structural–, or civil engineering—Arrow Engineering wants to understand the specific underlying needs of their clients to ensure the best possible results.
Their approach mirrors our best practices, and during the discovery phase for this project, our conversation focused in on their specific needs—a solution that felt energetic and dynamic, to reflect the company's internal culture, and the ability to showcase their best assets—their people.
Arrow's previous site was built on top of an older WordPress installation, and the decision was made early on to stay on that platform. This meant we were able to tap into the client familiarity with the administrative functionality, and just provide minimal additional training around newer features and technologies built into the most recent version.
Given the size of the team and the number of projects, it was also important that the content was readlly available and easily surfaced. To this end, search became an essential tool in pulling information from deep within the site to the main page.
